Gavin Ashenden, who recently released this video about the coronation liturgy of Charles III, explains how the king, at his peril, seems to be cutting off the roots of the monarchy from Jesus.
Ashenden is a British Catholic layman, author, commentator, and Associate Editor of the Catholic Herald. Formerly a priest of the Church of England, and subsequently a continuing Anglican bishop, he was Chaplain to the Queen from 2008 until his resignation in 2017. He holds a PhD from the University of Sussex.
